Iran offers to share nuclear technology with Indian Ocean states

Iran has offered to share its knowledge of nuclear technology, industry, and agriculture with the Indian Ocean countries in a bid to help provide social welfare for the region.

“The Islamic Republic has made considerable achievements in nuclear, industrial, and agricultural sciences and is prepared to put these achievements and technologies at the service of regional cooperation,” Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki said on Sunday.

hmm… I have some difficulty believing that “social welfare” is what Iran plans to provide.

  1. You know, the situation in Iran became all the more real (and all the more scary) after getting to know a few Iranian students when we were in Ukraine. One actually professed Christ. He took time to weigh the decision. He intellectually believed before he was willing to place his faith in Christ because he knew that it was a death sentence to return to Iran, should anyone find out. (His family was secular, but “officially” muslim, so that meant he was a “convert” and thus under the death penalty.)

The Iranian government is so oppressive and fanatical. . .

  2. I feel great sympathy for the ordinary Persian people. The Islamic Republic is tyrannical.
