Symphony No. 5 in E minor Op. 64 is my favorite of all of Tchaikovsky’s works. I first fell in love with it in Shakespeare Beethoven & Company in Dallas’s Galleria mall when I was a freshman in high school. And as I ponder sleep, knowing that I am going to feel so dead and lifeless at work in the morning if I don’t crawl into bed soon, I offer you a nice lullabye in the form of Symphony No. 5’s finale.
Okay… I suppose at least we can consider it a nice, majestic end to the day.
